Sunshine & Poppies Floral Design

About: Sunshine & Poppies is a Seattle-area upscale floral design boutique that creates bespoke, one-of-a-kind arrangements for subscription-based flower delivery, large-scale events, weddings, and sustainable accessories such as corsages and boutonnieres. Together, we developed an online presence that highlights the striking beauty and uniqueness of the proprietor’s portfolio and allows prospective clientele to inquire about her services within two clicks or less. We also developed social media (Facebook, Instagram) and newsletter templates (Mailchimp) that allow Kris to create deeper connections with her audience and develop a wider base.
Rachel Sitomer, soprano

About: Rachel Sitomer, soprano, is a dynamic and exciting artist “whose prismatic life and zest for authentic human connection permeates every aspect of her career.” When Rachel inquired about a collaboration to build out her web presence, she had recently won the Mixtape Recital Series Competition in Washington, DC, for which she had developed a recital entitled Motherhood: Instructions Not Included. In addition to promoting herself as an operatic performer and Teaching Artist, she wanted to give the program legs and market it to presenters beyond her immediate area. To accomplish this, we built a website and branding that reflected her warm, approachable personality, along with a standalone page and Electronic Press Kit (EPK) specifically for her recital so that prospective booking organizations could learn more about her Motherhood recital when she contacted them, increasing the likelihood that they would respond. Rachel is currently enjoying great success in both the operatic and recital realms, and her recital is sought after nationwide.

Together, we developed a brand and web presence that reflected her profound commitment to artistry and used the content that she already had on hand to work for her, particularly the range of positive reviews that she has received throughout her budding career.
Alex Boyd, baritone

About: Alex Boyd has been described by The New York Times as “a most consistently satisfying” baritone who has been praised for his work both on rarely performed pieces and cornerstone genre favorites alike. Together, we built a website and branding concept that highlighted the range of photos that have been taken of him, both in a production setting and as promotional materials, along with the wealth of video recordings that he had at the ready.

About: Dr. Andrea Saposnik is a multifaceted performer and educator whose career has enjoyed significant success, both as a celebrated mezzo-soprano and as a highly effective and sought-after voice teacher in the Upstate New York region. Our collaboration together has spanned several iterations, as she first approached me in an effort to build her web presence for her private voice studio. We later collaborated to build a site, logo, branding, and Electronic Press Kit (EPK) for her voice / guitar duo, Duo Voxara, and have since redesigned her personal website to support her performance pursuits and her studio at acclaimed music school, Hoff-Barthelson.

About: Duo Voxara is a dynamic and versatile classical guitar and mezzo-soprano duo, dedicated to bringing together the timeless elegance of classical music with the boldness of contemporary composition. Comprised of acclaimed guitarist Andrew Marino and highly sought-after mezzo-soprano Andrea Saposnik, the pair was seeking opportunities to increase their recital bookings and reach wider audiences within the Upstate New York area. Together, we built a site, logo, branding, and Electronic Press Kit (EPK), which they have used to great success in gaining bookings and building their audience.

Dr. Shi was seeking a web presence that allowed clients to learn more about her holistic health offerings and book appointments more easily, and she wanted to highlight the range of testimonials that she has received, along with her specialty in treating interstitial cystitis.

Together, we built a web presence that reflects his multifaceted artistry and allows listeners and fans to easily access his portfolio.

About: Throughout her career spanning over two decades, Catherine Cook, mezzo-soprano, has excelled in a wide range of roles with leading opera companies throughout the United States, including The Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera Colorado, Opera Philadelphia, Portland Opera, Opera Parallèle, and Santa Fe Opera. She is also an effective and sought-after voice teacher and serves as the Frederica von Stade Distinguished Chair in Voice at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Together, we built a web presence and branding kit that reflects her multifaceted capabilities and allows both prospective students and booking agents to learn about her artistry.
